See and experience anew with the SfG Basel

With the relaunch of its website, the Schule für Gestaltung Basel unites the Swiss graphic design it helped shape with a fresh web presence. An innovative visual concept and a clear information architecture bring together the diverse offerings and institutions of the SfG Basel into a cohesive whole, making them more tangible and accessible than ever before.

The new 3D concept fully utilizes the possibilities of digital space, making educational paths accessible through various materialities. Individual institutions can easily adapt and customize the 3D elements via the CMS. Seamless camera movements through a consistent 3D environment accompany navigation between pages and educational paths, inviting exploration.

Thanks to Parallel Routes, a new feature of next.js, we were able to combine the advantages of single-page and multi-page web applications: although visitors always remain within the 3D environment, the individual pages are treated separately and are thus search engine friendly.

With its inviting design and intuitive navigation, the new website guides existing and potential students, trainees, and course participants to the various topics and offerings of the SfG Basel. In this way, the Schule für Gestaltung Basel also connects online with the next generation of designers, showcasing itself as an attractive educational institution.
