Global logistics efficiency with Bertschi TruckTracer

For a long time, Bertschi AG planned its global hazardous goods transports using only a magnetic board. When this reached its limits due to the increasing number of journeys, it was clear that the time was ripe for a big step towards digitalization. Together with the logistics specialist, we developed TruckTracer—a solution that enables real-time tracking of shipments and interfaces seamlessly with Bertschi’s G11 integration platform. This ensures efficient planning even for large numbers of shipments.

TruckTracer offers a web application for dispatchers and iOS and Android apps for drivers, which simplifies the day-to-day work of both groups.

Using the web application, dispatchers can quickly compile each order individually and send it to the drivers' smartphones. They benefit from:

• More transparency thanks to real-time location of loads.
• Communication with drivers in seconds via the call and instant messaging function.
• Real-time access to all documents scanned by drivers during a transport via the app.

Transport orders are complex and always different in sequence. The TrackTracer mobile app takes the strain off drivers thanks to intuitive, time-saving features:

TruckTracer is available on a wide range of device types and platforms and handles complex processes across numerous countries, languages, and time zones. Thanks to its modular design and code-based system, workflows can be easily customized and special cases handled seamlessly. Since external dispatchers also access TruckTracer, the application supports multi-client capability and data segregation.
