Features with focus

In the event of an avalanche accident, reacting quickly is the be-all and end-all. After just 15 minutes, the chances of survival for buried victims drop to less than 60%. The app for Mammut's latest avalanche transceiver, the Barryvox® S2, is designed to prepare users for a quick search and keep their avalanche transceivers ready for use and up to date via a Bluetooth interface. For more safety on mountain adventures.

Groundbreaking training

No other app of its kind can do this: With the Pocket Training Park, developed together with mountain guides, several avalanche transceivers can be connected to the Barryvox® app at the same time and put into training mode. Various scenarios offer a challenge for everyone - from beginners to mountain professionals.

"dreipol proved to be a strong and reliable partner, whose dedication and expertise were crucial in achieving a significant milestone. Our shared passion for the mountains and the pursuit of maximum safety in mountain sports made this partnership particularly valuable."

Streamlined UX

Sleek design, crystal-clear user guidance: nothing distracts from the essentials. The user interface of the Barryvox® app can be quickly understood and easily operated. This also applies to the Barryvox® S2 display: in order to take the intuitive presentation to the next level with the new model, we also supported Mammut in the visual revision of the coarse and, above all, the fine search.

Jacqueline Miler explains how the Barryvox S2 works.

For – and by – mountain enthusiasts

The collaboration with Mammut was a real affair of the heart for us as tourers and backcountry enthusiasts – not least because we were able to develop an app for a Swiss classic like the Barryvox®, which we have been using ourselves for years. We are excited to see how the Barryvox® S2 will improve avalanche safety in the backcountry!
